I really loved the book Battlefield Earth when I was around 14 I read some of L.Ron Hubbard books. He was a great pulp science fiction writer – his books were a lot of fun. Just amazes me that people got sucked into his science fiction. Kind of a tribute to the guys imagination. But kind of sad people got sucked into his fantasy world – that is just very frightening. People are just so desperate to know who they are and why they are here on earth. I wonder if Hubbard believed his own fantasy or if he was just a con man. I think he was a little bit con man and a little bit crazy myself but cant help but like the guy for some reason.
